Recommended dose<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
From 6 months to 2 years of age (up to 12 kg): 1-2 sachets per day
\nFrom 2 to 11 years of age (from 12 to 20 kg): 2-4 sachets per day
\nOver 11 years of age (or > 20 kg): 2-6 sachets per day
\n 
\nIt is possible to divide the daily dose into several administrations. The dose can be increased or decreased depending on the individual response to treatment. In any case, it is advisable to consult a doctor. Use the product in pediatric children only after medical advice. The maximum dose needed does not normally exceed 6 sachets per day.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n\n
Instruction for use<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Dissolve the contents of 1 sachet in 1\/2 glass of water or milk or other liquid (minimum volume 60 ml). Drink the solution thus reconstituted. The daily number of sachets to be taken can be reconstituted in advance in the appropriate volume of liquid and the solution stored in the refrigerator covered for up to 24 hours. It is recommended to take Dicopeg between meals.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n\n
When not to use it<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Do not take Dicopeg in case of known hypersensitivity to macrogol or the other components, intestinal perforation, obstruction or stenosis, paralytic ileus, severe inflammatory diseases of the intestinal tract such as Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis and toxic megacolon. The use of laxatives is contraindicated in case of acute abdominal pain or of unknown origin, nausea and vomiting, rectal bleeding of unknown origin and in case of severe dehydration. During pregnancy and lactation the product must be used on medical prescription.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n\n
Interactions with drugs<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
There are no known interactions with drugs but it is advisable that the intake of the product is spaced at least 2 hours from that of drugs administered orally since the osmotic power of the macrogol and the increase in the gastrointestinal transit rate induced can negatively affect their effectiveness. Indications<\/strong>
\nDicopeg is a medical device with a laxative action which, through an osmotic action, regulates the intestine in a natural way. It is not absorbed or fermented in the intestine, it does not irritate the mucosa and is eliminated in the faeces in an unmodified form. Dicopeg is particularly indicated in chronic constipation and in cases of occasionally irregular bowel. In fact, thanks to its affinity for water, Dicopeg softens the stool, facilitating evacuation. Its effectiveness does not decrease over time.<\/p>\n
